Digital transformation has been a critical differentiator for enterprise crisis recovery. The need to shift entire workforces and operations in response to a global pandemic was a wake-up call to digital resistors, as they lacked the flexibility and innovation to better adapt to changing conditions. Now, ten months after the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, CEOs are considering how to flatten their recessionary curves, work towards enterprise recovery, and build more resilient organizations.

This approach is somewhat novel, as economic recessions generally trigger conservatism and cost reductions. However, this pandemic highlights the difference that digital transformation and the right technology partners can make to an organization’s survival.

That’s why we’ve created our new video series, “Candid Conversations on Moving from Crisis to Recovery”. IDC President Crawford del Prete and Chief Research Officer Meredith Whalen dive into the different technologies, sectors, and industries that are adjusting to the new normal with IDC’s senior analysts.
